How to make it to Canada Immigration in 2019

Canada has made policies to welcome over a million migrants by the year 2021. This is because their economy is improving and employment opportunities are on the rise. There are more jobs available and skilled worker are required to fill in these openings. If you are a resident of Bangalore, it is a good idea to work with Canada immigration consultants Bangalore, for the best results. The Government of Canada held its second Express Entry draw of 2019 on Wednesday, January 23rd, issuing 3,900 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence to candidates with ranking scores as low as 443. Canada has now issued 7,800 invitations to candidates in the Federal Express Entry system since the start of 2019. This is the most number of ITA’s issued as of January 23rd since Express Entry was introduced in 2015.

This year’s record start is not unexpected given Canada’s targets for 2019 and 2020 for Federal High Skilled economic immigration candidates, the vast majority of whom have their applications for permanent resident status processed through the Express Entry system. IRCC issued its most invitations in a single year in 2018. However in order to meet higher targets for 2019 and 2020, it is expected that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will have to issue more ITAs over the course of 2019 than it did in 2018.

The Canadian government has increased associated funding for welcoming immigrants and have put together many important changes that would-be immigrants can look forward to.

Express Entry

This is a system that was introduced in 2015 and is just about the speediest way to gain permanent residence in Canada. The application system for this option can be done online. The year 2018 served over 86000 invitations in the category.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

This is yet another method used by migrants to attain permanent residence in Canada. There are many PNP streams from different Canadian provinces. You can choose anyone that you want. The best point about PNPs is that there are no previous connections to the province that are required. It is also possible for the PNPs to change.

A provincial nomination through Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program is one increasingly popular option for Express Entry candidates looking to better their scores. The PNP offers  participating Canadian provinces and territories to nominate an allotted number of economic immigration candidates for permanent residence each year, including Express Entry candidates.

A provincial nomination through an Express Entry-linked PNP stream results in an additional 600 CRS points, which effectively assures an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence. Express Entry PNP streams in Ontario, Saskatchewan,Manitoba,British Columbia and Prince Edward Island have been active recently.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

This is a program announced for Maritime Provinces and has seen reasonable success last year. It is predicted that there are likely to be larger numbers this year.

Skilled Worker Program – Quebec

The government of Quebec is likely to conduct draws to help individuals migrate under their Skilled Worker Program.

As the next set of Federal elections are due in October 2019 in Canada, it is best to take advantage of the current immigration systems early in 2019. After the elections, some policies may change with the new government.
